GOOGLE LIES ABOUT ITS A.I.

GOOGLE LIES ABOUT ITS A.I.

Read what I wrote in French and then Google's unnatural-language processed translation, and compare to a PROPER translation.

I understand this might read pedantic; and I have more than enough humility & agree, yet I have passions for linguistics and natural-language processing; so, have patience - I am offering you some advice to avoid humiliation resultant Google's - ahem - 'translations' (see the image at the end of this entry)...

Although Google asserts its innovation, its command, of artificial intelligence; that is to write, machine learning, anyone with true knowledge of the subject understands Google's claims to be little more than Silicon Valley Narcissism and Hubris.

Someone sent me Google's pathetic attempt to translate the French I wrote in an earlier entry, and I just had to verify Google's nonsensical result.

Has no one at Google injected their risible translation service with passé simple - should not a system, built upon the 'intelligence' Google claims, be able to translate a COMMON French verb tense... and what of a 'translation' service that cannot handle the word 'francophones' - or confuses j'sais with jamais?

What a rotten H1-B coded embarrassment!

For the curious, this is the ** PROPER TRANSLATION ** of what I wrote, so that you, reader, know never to rely on Google:

"...

to the French-speaking social justice warriors, the great kings and queens of the imbeciles: I CAME, I SAW, I VOMITED

- LNDL [yeah, yeah... I know the verb, gerber. piss off! (grin)]

..."

('MDR' is the French version of the texting acronym 'LOL' - that last part about 'gerber' was some humor for an associate, who speaks Metropolitan French)

Google's 'translation' as of this writing...
